Pageant Media Submissions

WOULD YOU LIKE MORE COMPREHENSIVE FEEDBACK?

The Foundation's new Certified Judges Directory/Workshop has been received with rave reviews!  We are committed to educating pageant judges how to judge without personal bias, and ethically based on several topic related specifics.

In order to give our workshop attendees the most realistic training,
we need real life pageant contestant examples.

Your submission(s) will be instrumental in helping to raise the bar in agricultural pageant judging. If we select your media, we will make sure you receive the feedback from our judgees.

To provide the best media options, please review these suggestions:
PHOTOS (Photogenic Headshots or Garment Photos):
  • Your photos do NOT have to be taken by a professional photographer.
  • Photo should be clear and well lit.
  • When submitting a garment photo(s), it should represent exactly how you would look walking into a pageant event. (Hair styled, make-up on, accessories you would wear, etc.).  Our judges will be providing feedback based on what we see - not based on what you "plan" to do with the outfit.

VIDEOS (Horsemanship, Speech, or Modeling):
  • All videos need to be clear and good quality for easy viewing by our Judges.
  • Speech videos need good quality audio so judges can hear your delivery.
  • Modeling/Horsemanship videos need to zoom in/out to keep you in full frame for easy viewing
    (we need to see entire horse and/or you at all times).
  • Horsemanship videos should have NO SOUND.​
  • Horsemanship should include a freestyle pattern, and MUST include all of the following
    • Large/Small Circles & Change of Speed​
    • Lead Changes
    • Stop & Back
    • Rollback
    • ​Queen Run (Hot Lap)
    • Carry flag around arena at a canter
