Keith has been an entrepreneurial leader for 30 years. With a background in accounting and finance, he has consulted with non-profits and for-profits both domestically and internationally. His passion for transparent stewardship has been a trademark of his work.

 

As a previous consulting firm president, Keith has coached executives, professional speakers, and sales associates, providing invaluable training in the areas of leadership, sales, financial management, diversity, and effective communication techniques. Prior to his leadership roles, Keith was an independent entrepreneur who specialized in real estate investments and property management.

 

In 2007, Keith started HQ Payroll Solutions to help companies and professionals with their back-office needs. The business grew exponentially, and maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau without a single complaint.

 

Keith benefits those he consults by passing on the knowledge and skills he’s acquired through his vast experience. Keith’s personalized approach allows him to continually develop himself and learn from the experience of others, whether they have been in their positions for years or are just starting out. His ability to absorb knowledge from others further strengthens what he passes on to those he serves.

 

Keith was introduced to the Foundation when he became a major sponsor and served on the Scholarship Committee.  While the agricultural industry was new to Keith, his desire to impact the agricultural and livestock world continued to grow as he learned about the heart and conviction of those who serve in this environment.

Keith is passionate about helping others reach their potential and impact the world around them. Growing up as one of ten children, his parents instilled in him the importance of hard work to achieve your goals. Working to earn money as a young child, taught him the importance of honesty, integrity, and discipline. He now shares his lessons learned with those he leads.

LISA O'GORMAN, SLP — Vice-President

Lisa O’Gorman was born in California, and raised in England.  Her passion for owning and riding horses began at a very young age.  But after moving back to California, she became a local 4 H horse leader, taught riding lessons to all ages, and specialized in lessons for children on the Autism Spectrum.
 

As an avid rider, Lisa has competed in extreme mountain trail, jumping, classical dressage, and trail riding challenges. Today she enjoys competing and learning all she can in the sport of Cowboy Dressage. 
 

As the mother of two daughters who have held Rodeo Queen titles, Lisa has had front row access to the rodeo queen industry at all levels.. Her oldest daughter, Hannah Leib Holland, was crowned Miss Rodeo Washington 2019, and finished first runner up at the 2020 Miss Rodeo America Pageant. 

Her younger daughter, Georgia Leib,  held the title of Miss Columbia River Circuit, and was 1st runner up for two years at Miss Rodeo Washington.  She has since started a videography marketing business (Leathal Leib Productions) and provides social media and video marketing services for several pro rodeos, including the Texas ProRodeo Circuit, Columbia River Circuit and more.

 

Lisa is a Speech Language Pathologist who works for a local school district as well as running a private practice located in Lacey, Washington.

Debra’s career trajectory is nothing short of impressive. From her roots in rodeo as Miss Rodeo Kansas 1980 to her pioneering work in the pageant industry, she’s shown a unique ability to innovate and elevate women’s experiences in traditionally male-dominated spaces. Partnering with Teddi Bankes to conduct Rodeo Queen Clinics was a brilliant move, and the fact that she founded Queens In Jeans in 2007 to help young women in ag-related pageants shows her long-standing commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders.

 

Her experience in the modeling and talent industry, particularly founding The Professional Edge Model & Talent Agency, is also notable. The fact that she was accepted into the American Modeling Association and later served as its president for two consecutive terms, speaks to her leadership and influence in that space.

Debra’s 25-year speaking career, especially her work with Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, and universities, showcases her ability to connect and make an impact across a wide range of audiences. The training videos she produced on topics like Front Desk Safety, Assertive Communication, and Emotional Intelligence show how her expertise extends beyond just motivational speaking, impacting real-world business environments.

Her best-selling book, Finding Your Moxie: Myths and Lies Successful Women Kick to the Curb, hitting #1 on Amazon is a huge testament to her expertise and ability to resonate with women in business. Being a founding member of The Foundation for Western Professionals further solidifies her commitment to advancing the western lifestyle and empowering individuals in that community.​​​

Crystal Hansen is a thought leader, and influential voice for the western lifestyle. She is deeply invested in preserving and advancing the western way of life by promoting its values and preserving its culture. She is also impactful in mentoring the next generation ​

As an education and media consultant, she provided event planning services for high-profile Fortune 500 corporate and A-list celebrities.  In particular, her work with the California National Guard’s Family/Youth Division, helping youth thrive during deployment transitions, is especially meaningful. It speaks to her ability to apply her skills in ways that truly benefit communities and families.

Her role as a founding member of The Foundation for Western Professionals is also notable, as it reflects her commitment to making a lasting impact on the future of Western culture. Serving as Director of the State Media Ambassador Internship Program ties in beautifully with her mentorship focus.

A bold visionary, drawing from her passion as a mentor and mother of five, Crystal educates & empowers the next generation of leaders in rodeo, agriculture, and media. Through her mentorship, speaking, podcast, and workshops, she inspires audiences to authentic leadership and the western lifestyles with bold purpose.​

Since the ripe age of 13 and into her early career, Fiona Jolly assisted with and served in the role of a Veterinarian Technician.  She has assisted with all types of procedures and surgeries on both large and small animals, and eventually managed three practices. Her next career move took her to Home Depot stores for nine year, where she was eventually promoted to Merchandising Manager.

 

For over 18 years, Fiona has supported Rodeo de Santa Fe as a volunteer and now as a dedicated Board Member where she specializes in sponsorships and marketing for the rodeo.  She lives on the rodeo grounds and assists with yearly events and ground maintenance.  

 

Sjnce 2019, she has served as the Rodeo Royalty Coordinator for the Miss Rodeo de Santa Fe pageant.  In this role, she recruits contestants, secures sponsorships, organizes the annual pageant, and coordinates royalty appearances throughout the year.
 

As an avid horsewoman for over 30 years, Fiona has competed in rodeo and horse shows in multiple disciplines,  trains horses and provides riding lessons.

 

When asked what she appreciates most about the Foundation, Fiona stated, "The thing that excites me the most is the guidance I have received as I navigate our Rodeo Royalty program, as well as our 501(c)3.  I've learned so many right and wrongs in the last two years all of which has made me a better leader to the girls and Board Member to Rodeo de Santa Fe. I finally feel confident in getting some support and can get answers when needed.  Being offered a place on this Board is an honor as I will now be part of a resource for other youth and programs." 

 

Fiona is a hardworking individual who values time outdoors, along with family and friends.

JENNIFER JOYCE - Member-At-Large

Jennifer Joyce is originally from Bentonville, Arkansas. Today she lives in Victor, Idaho where she and her husband, JD, run "4 Pistols Ranch" — a cattle and horse ranch. 

 

Prior to moving to Idaho, Jennifer and JD owned and operated "Foster Roofing" in Springdale, AR.  She spearheaded advertising campaigns, company logistics, hiring and training customer service staff, and the daily administration of the company.   

 

After graduating from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Criminal Justice , Jennifer enjoyed a fulfilling career as a police officer and eventually a trainer with the Bentonville Police Department.  She resigned from this position to raise her two children, Margaret Grayce and Cole Joyce.

After retiring, Jennifer entered into the rodeo world as a rodeo queen mom.  she has enjoyed being a rodeo queen mom, taking care of the horses and dogs as well as loving the hard work of ranch life. 

 

She considers it a great honor to join the Board of Directors with The Foundation for Western Professionals and looks forward to assisting in promoting the mission to bring the western lifestyle to the greater community. 

 

Jennifer shares, "It is imperative that we include everyone with a passion for the industry, and ensure those who become interested do not feel self-conscious or judged because they did not “grow up in the saddle.” Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy, and only through acceptance and encouragement can we continue to grow the industries we love."

DONA RUTHERFORD - Member-At-Large

NEW MEXICO

Dona Rutherford was raised on a working cattle ranch in southern New Mexico, the daughter of Edward “Buddy” Arrington, a retired rodeo cowboy and rancher, and Marjorie Arrington, a federal employee. She graduated from Las Cruces High School and attended New Mexico State University.

 

While married, she lived all over the State of New Mexico and went back to her rodeo roots in barrel racing and team roping. Returning to Las Cruces, she went to work for White Sands Missile Range, Department of the Army and continued her education at NMSU, majoring in Range Management. She became employed by the Bureau of Land Management in 1991 and is still employed by them. Ms. Rutherford works with ranchers on a daily basis in her position as a Range Technician.

 

In 1995, she became a board member of the Southern New Mexico State Fair and Rodeo, serving on the Executive Board intermittently until 2024, and continues on the Royalty Committee and the Rodeo Committee where she does production for the annual PRCA rodeo.

 

While rodeo has always been a part of her life, the rodeo queen world was not introduced until 2003 when she became Vice-Chairman of the Miss Rodeo New Mexico Organization. She retained that title, working on growing the program, until she took over the Miss Turquoise Circuit Pageant in February of 2007. She went back to the MRNM Program in 2018 to assist them in setting up their new program. While in the Director role with Miss Turquoise Circuit, she established the Borderland Queen Enterprises, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization. She retired from the Miss Turquoise Circuit Pageant/BQE in early 2024.

 

As part of her passion for the Rodeo Royalty world, she established the Borderland Queen Clinic (BQC)  in 2004 as a fundraiser for the Miss Rodeo NM Pageant and was moved to the Miss Turquoise Circuit Pageant in 2008. The BQC has a reputation for being the most comprehensive clinic in the country with graduates who have gone on to become State Queens, top 5 at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant and even Miss Rodeo America 2017 and 2024.

 

After retiring in 2025, Ms. Rutherford plans to stay active in various projects and activities as long as she can be a productive and contributing member.
